When I get a google alert for "Betty Dodson", I click on the link with a bit of trepidation.  I want Betty's work to be acknowledged and her role to be valued.  The Huff Post did her justice listing her as one of the leaders of the sexual revolution:

An early sex educator, she is most well known for her book, Liberating Masturbation: a Meditation on Selflove, which taught women, including women with disabilities, to understand masturbation, a previously taboo subject. Today she is still regularly teaching courses on masturbation in New York.
