I think it's wonderful to make porn that sexually inspires lots of people or be so hot you sexually inspire lots of people too.  But when it comes to porn reproducing outrageous  fantasies, I find drawings are so much more reassuring because they're still pure fantasy. But When those fantasies are visually reproduced, surprisingly for me they quickly become boring, because I'm viewing rather than mentally  participating. I think in solo masturbation, fantasy is our participation. The fantasy is our engagement with the notions that arouse us. I think erotica excites the imagination to produce fantasy, where as porn is the reproduction of those fantasies.

Research says that when a statement is voiced that creates any kind of "discomfort" in the speaker, the cilia (tiny little hairs) inside the nose are sensitized to action.  Blood pressure rises and the nose feels itchy.  If you're watching a person speak at a,say, conference, and  they go to their nose, you know they are experiencing some kind of conflict with their statement. We used to say they were lying but I think they're just uncomfortable. (not in a good or bad way, just in a way).  Carlin?
