Say it....say it now: I appreciate my body. We spend too much time hating our bodies and wishing that we looked better. Perfection is an illusion.

Start anywhere...
Sometimes it's hard to pick a part of our body to compliment, because the negatives (or perceived negatives) get so ingrained into our brains as we keep thinking about them. For me, when I get like that, it helps to start with something odd, like a pinky toe. How wonderful pinky toes are! They help us keep our balance as we walk. :-) I also like to think about my lungs, my heart, my spleen sometimes... I'm so lucky that those parts of my body work well and keep functioning every day. I'm so grateful. When I start to think about the big picture that way, I stop stressing about whether my belly curve is the right size. I can focus on loving my body and taking care of it.
