Tina Fey confessed last night on Letterman that she was a VIRGIN until she met her husband at 24. Somehow I don't believe her.

An Iowan court has upheld the sex conviction of an 18 year old who texted a picture of his penis with the inscription "I love you" to his 14 year old girlfriend (she requested the penis pic). Her mom found it and now he's a registered sex offender for life :(

I have a few catholic girlfriends who would have loved to get their hands on one of these virginity faking devices.  They could have had vaginal sex instead of letting every boyfriend in the "back door" to maintain their hymen ;)

The device costs $15 and releases blood to simulate the breaking of the hymen.  You insert it in your vagina, pretend to be in pain, and then the blood confirms the fraud.  It's a much cheaper alternative to the hymen restoration surgeries that have been sweeping the Middle East.  It's become a huge issue. A leading Egyptian scholar has demanded that people caught importing a female virginity-faking device into the country should face the death penalty.

Betty is so right.  They want to control female sexuality at any cost.

And I would add that the majority also have extramarital sex:

At least nine out of 10 Americans, men and women alike, have had premarital sex, says a new report. And premarital sex isn't new -- the high rates include the sexual habits of women born in the 1940s, challenging the idea that sexual behaviors used to be more restrained.

Sex has apparently become something of a young American habit. "It's hard to stop the evolution of that urge," said Judy Kuriansky, a sex therapist, media personality and adjunct professor of psychology at Columbia University Teachers College in New York.

The report, published by the private Guttmacher Institute in New York, challenges the thinking behind government-funded programs that rely primarily on abstinence-only teachings. The study, released Tuesday, appears in the new issue of Public Health Reports.

A Russian woman ended up in intensive care after restoring her virginity for the sixth time.  The woman, identified as Natalia K., got married at 24. Her husband was not the girl's first sexual partner, Life.ru writes.

When the husband confessed he was upset about her losing her virginity before the wedding and with another man, Natalia decided to make things up for him.  To celebrate their first year together as a married couple, she went to a plastic surgery clinic and had a hymenoplasty operation.

The husband was so delighted with the present, that a year later Natalia wanted to give that joy to him again. And the next year, and the year after that.

Why must we sexualize all touch? 

Hugging among U.S. teenagers has become so prevalent some schools say they've banned the embrace or imposed limits on how long they last.

"Touching and physical contact is very dangerous territory," said Noreen Hajinlian, principal of George G. White School, a junior high school in Hillsdale, N.J., which banned hugging. "It wasn't a greeting. It was happening all day."

Hajinlian's school is among those from New Jersey to Bend, Ore., that have clamped down on hugging, The New York Times reported Saturday.

I am a virgin. I have some experience with masturbation and general making out but never have had intercourse. I am reaching my 40's and I was thinking it could be time to try with safe sex. I am overwhelmed and so tense when I tried last time that the male part will not go in at all.
