Kate Bornstein is one of my favorite people. She is a transgendered woman who doesn't refer to herself as either male or female. She refers to herself as transgendered. Behold Mantyhose

I'm not sure the average guy has the calves to pull off mantyhose.  Do you think they'll have control top, sheer toe, or reinforced crotch options?  Anyway...

It was kind of interesting to know that demand among male shoppers for pantyhose has apparently been soaring over the past five years. So Selfridges in London responded with a range designed exclusively for guysized legs.

They come in black, beige and charcoal.

Why would a man desire mantyhose? Well it seems that they're worn under suits to keep the legs warm and to give the hips and thighs a nice smooth line.

Hi Betty, this is a both a comment and a compliment. I've been lurking on your site for some time ( both you are carlin are beautiful ladies!), and after seeing your documentary on channel 4 in the U.K., I was saddened but not surprised to read of the difficulties experienced getting some of this footage out to the public.  When I watched the footage, I was both relieved and slightly discomfited by it.

I am a trangendered female (wishing to be a male) and had gone through my life expecting that I should be able to orgasm via clitoral stimulation at least alone. But I had never been able to do this as I have always been at odds with my body and mind.

My hat is off to Ms. Tyra Banks. She has no problem pushing the boundaries and actively creates a dialogue about sexuality and taboos. You so know that Oprah wouldn't open her show to a pro-sex, pro-transgender story line. I heart Tyra!

One of the 14 girls who will compete on the new season of America's Next Top Model – which returns to The CW on September 3 – is transgender.

"My cards were dealt differently," Isis, a 22-year-old former receptionist, tells Us Weekly exclusively in its new issue, on newsstands now.

Hailing from Prince George's County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as "a woman born physically male."
