Don’t we all love orgasms? I know I do. And so do these two beautiful women – Carlin Ross and Betty Dodson.What's so interesting is that the orgasms they describe are unlike those I experience. So heres what happened. I was about to have sex with my friend. Probably not the best idea considering he was drunk but, I couldn't help myself. I was getting a notebook from my bag when I hear the  door slam and suddenly he is behind me kissing my neck and picks me up and puts me on the bed. So things are getting hot and we are about to have sex and I confess that I've been doing my research and I need more clit stimulation so I can have orgasms on a regular basis.  He agrees with this and then I tell him I brought along my vibrator to that I wanted to try that out. He has a mini freak out, gets really sad, and says it makes him feel like he isn't good enough for me sexually. I try to explain but he has moved on.

Keep stopping right before Orgasm

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now. He's only the second person I've been with sexually and we've been having problems getting me to have an orgasm. It feels great and everything but right before I
get to an orgasm I tense up and push him away. We kept trying but I would always stop him right before. He bought me a vibrator
thinking it might help but I do the same thing. Right before I get to
an orgasm I pull the vibrator away. After doing some research I found out some women were afraid to climax in front of their guys so I started to use the vibrator in private but I still can't do it.

Hey Betty,

Well I'm 19 have had sex a couple of times and can't orgasm. I have been masturbating ever since I was a little girl but haven't orgasmed. Am I doing something wrong? I used to think that I masturbated for a couple of minutes and that lengthening the session would help. This didn't though. Should I invest in a vibrator? I've looked at your First time Orgasm page and have tried it but it wasn't successful for me. I've asked my friends about it and most of them orgasm really easily. Where am I going wrong?

Hi Betty!

I am 20 years old and I just started masturbating about 4 months ago. I was always kind of nervous to look at myself or touch myself, but I tried it for the first time about 4 months ago. I usually give it like, 2 minutes with my hand...or 5-10 minutes with a vibrator and it does feel good, but I don't have the big orgasm that I'm waiting for. JoAnn Wypijewski's article is timely now that we're debating the public option for health care. Sexual health care for women is as simple as redefining heterosexuality by adding a little clitoral stimulation along with vaginal penetration.
