I just had an incident with my brand new razor. I was shaving, and I have hair just inside of my vaginal lips, so I tried to shave them... And felt a slight sting during. I thought nothing of it until I got out of the shower.
I have a cut from the clit connection to the labia minora (or looking up a detailed photo of a vagina, it's basically right on the Glands of the clitoris, but not actually on my clit and my clit appears to be unscathed). It's about half a centimeter or so I think, and it doesn't hurt right now, but I'm a little nervous and would like to know how long generally it will take to heal.
I won't be masturbating or having sex until it's healed because it looks terrifying.
I don't feel any desire or need to shave/wax/etc my pubic hair and I don't always shave my legs either. A lot of men and women seem to think this is normal and a must. What are your opinions? Why do people hate hair?
I don't think people hate hair but we do go through phases of hair fashion that you can't count on changing. Remember our beloved hippies in the sixties and early seventies? We were all hair back then and women did not shave their legs or arm pits, me included. It's good to remember that fashion is very fickle and what's hot today will be gone tomorrow.
Thank you for being you. You have influenced me so much. I want to ask you about genital shaving. I probably have an average amount of hair in the pelvic region. I do have some hair that grows around the outer parts of my lips in between my legs. I enjoy being natural but guys seem to want me to shave. I will trim and take care of any wildness but I hate shaving. I have really sensitive skin. I always get terrible razor burn and uncomfortable itching.
