health care reform

Heather Graham Supports a Public Option

This video says it all

MoveOn Disrupts the Republican Town Hall Machine

I'm beginning to realize that MoveOn is our new barricade against health insurance companies who have hired mobs to disrupt town hall meetings. We are now 5 million strong and remain the voices of reason. Let's all pitch in and support these grassroots actions.

I'm so angry at Obama for caving but then Carlin reminds me that we've been trying to get health care reform since Truman. Now with our country controlled by the big corporations and we have become a corportracacy (fascism in other words) I think he's probabley doing the best he can. Change comes from the people not from government. That's where MoveOn comes in. They keep me from sinking into a deep depression over what's happening to America with all the fear mongering running rampant. Shame on the Republican party that now represents religous extremists and greedy corporations. Shame!

Legislators for Sale

If all of America could hear and understand Keith's comments on health care, Big Pharma and mean-spirited Blue Dogs, they would storm Congress with baseball bats, pitch forks and Magic Wand vibrators. We will throw the bums out at mid-term elections. Meanwhile people are suffering needlessly.

The Latest on Health Care

I was so angry at Nader for splitting the vote that I dismissed him from my awareness. Now I'm reading everything Ralph puts out because he is once again in his best role as whistle blower. He has the skinny on DC and how those bloated pigs operate and why they block single payer health care.

And, of course, the health care debate all comes down to raising taxes on the rich.  Who knew Rupert Murdoch (behold the face of evil) was behind the Great Tax Con Job?

We Must Support Single Payer Action For Our Health Care

I just donated to Single Payer Action and so should you.  If you don't understand what "Single Payer" means and how it relates to our health care system, watch this animated short.

Ralph Nadar nails it again when he says, "Obama's going along to get along." Our president is bending over while the BIG insurance and drug corporations stick it to him. They run the country not us pitiful tax paying voters who voted Obama in based on some meaningful change. I'm broken hearted to say, the new boss is the same as the old boss. We just got fooled again.

Personally, I think they way we rely on health insurance is crazy. By the time a person needs a doctor or ends up in the hospital could be avoided by outlawing fast food restaurants and packaged junk food. If people started drinking clean water instead of diet drinks they could avoid a lot of health problems right there. Until people learn how to feed themselves, including the medical professionals we will end up needing help. That's the least government should do for it's citizens.
