Cuba

This has been am amazing year of travel; LA, Seattle, Victoria BC, Cuernavaca Mexico, Copenhagen Denmark, Phoenix Arizona and finally Cuba on December first via Cancun for ten days. My dear friend Morgan Alexander, a photographer who lives in Ojai California, has made six trips to Cuba so far. She's hooked on that beautiful island and invited Carlin and me to join her group of academic women in the fine arts. There were ten of us for the first half until two left early. Our ages ranged in the fifties and sixties with two younger women in their thirties. Two of us were in our seventies and I was the oldest.

This past year was a humdinger. Here's a few of my New Year's Resolutions and latest insights into "The Adventures of Dr. Betty Dodson: A Sex-Happy Senior Citizen."

Health: My body must come first in the New Year. I promise to do some kind of movement every day to keep everything working. For the past few months I laid off of swimming and stretching and did a minimum of walking. I'm paying for it now with added body aches and pains. I blamed this relapse on traveling, but I don't want to get fat like so many business men who use this as an excuse to eat crappy food and not exercise.
