Hi Betty

I need some advice. I am 18 and i am uncircumcised. I am a little worried as I am unable to pull my penis or foreskin over the head, should i leave it or what should i do?

Dear NC,

The usual approach is to gently pull your foreskin back from your erect penis during masturbation. A warm shower or bath helps to relax the skin. Add some nice clean massage oil (you can buy at your local health food store) along with warm sexy thoughts. Then take time to enjoy yourself. Easy does it. Just don't force it. If you Google tight foreskin don't get overwhelmed by the big words and medical talk. This is quite common and natural.

Bravo, Dr Betty, great advice and not a c-word in sight! ("-ircumcision", that is).

But leaving it forward is one option, depending on how NC evenutally wants to use it. The skin can stay forward inside a condom, or without one with lots of lube and a loose partner. If he wants to make it retractable, he should take his time and not try to do it all in one go. A few minutes a day for two weeks should be enough. If it hurts, he's going too fast.

Great Advice by both Betty, and Hugh7. A foreskin can certainly become retractable by gently stretching it.

If you realize that many circumcised men will stretch what is left of their foreskin to recover the head, it is no suprise that an intact foreskin can learn to stretch a much smaller amount, in order to become retractable during an erection.
