Joan Price - author of Naked at Our Age - stopped by and we turned on the microphones. Betty wrote the forward and we can't say enough wonderful things about this book.
Sex changes as you age but sex is life long (what Joan calls "ageless sexuality"). And, as women, we can look forward to "menopausal zest". Joan met the love of her life when she was 57....a time when you can break all the rules and discover your sexual fluidity.

Senior Sex
I have been having sex with younger guys. I am now 72 years old. I don't lie about my age. I WON'T lie about my age.
The young guys have the stamina, that's great, and I have the freedom to explore, be spontaneous and adventurous, but these young guys still don't have a clue how to treat a good woman. It's been lusty with the last 2 guys, but they didn't have a clue about how to treat a good woman. Hopefully in some way I taught them something.
The next one, whenever he shows up, has got to treat me great. Really great. I am as lusty as ever, but have to be able negotiate out of kindness and respect.
Keep on doing the great work you are doing. I would never want to give up my sex life. It's all about being alive at any age.

Listening to this is so very exciting for a 31 year old. I LOVE to hear that I have at least 5 possibly 6 more decades ahead of me where sex will not only still be a major and enjoyable feature in my life but will still be surprising me and making me learn about who I am and how to connect with others. I have sent a copy of Joan's book to my Mother and I have ordered one for myself and recommended it on my website forum for my members.
