Coming Out, Busting the Virginity Myth & Celebrating Female Sexuality

It was a big week - I came out about my sexual past with Marie Claire and posed for a evocative photoshoot.  Betty's response, "now I know how my mother felt".

It was my sexual "coming out".  I'm so glad I did it.

I listen to your podcasts, and I almost always masturbate and orgasm during them. I 'm getting the educational and motivational and political messages, and that paired with your open sexuality, affection for each other and yourselves, and inclusion of sex into your conversations is such a sexual turn-on for me. And it's always good.

 Thanks

Ooh I enjoyed the podcast thanks. Betty I hear what your saying about being a man. But the definition of gender man is mostly a social expectation or stereotype that begins here.  Having a penis doesn't mean I can't self actualise and be however I want to be and so be myself. I have a penis and the rest is up to me to decide. So when people ask me who won the fight or match because I'm a man I have to lett them know I couldn't give shit :)

Carlin what you were

Carlin what you were saying about coming out and how you feel made me think of a Nelson Mandela quote:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?  Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
