This is what I love about American culture:

Playboy launching a real live sex show - Acceptable

The couples will be encouraged to have sex on camera - Acceptable

The women will be encouraged to discover their innate inner bisexuality - Acceptable

Men discovering their innate inner bisexuality - Fuck No

This is going to be an interesting series (sounds like something me and Chead pitched last year). Here's the entire article

Cable TV's premium Playboy channel is about to take all those dating reality shows a step further with its new show, "Foursome."

Playboy TV will roll out the half-hour show July 8. It will take two couples each week and follow them for 24 hours to see if they end up in the sack, Daily Variety reported.

Every move will be recorded -- including bedroom moves.

Among the more racy episodes revealed by Playboy is one in which one of the men is so obnoxious, he drives the women into each others' arms.

The network said while women are being encouraged to discover "their inner bisexuality," man-on-man action is being strictly banned from the show.

It's really easy to explain....
"If I watch men being gay on tv, does that make me a faggot too?"
The vast majority of men, particularly the men that would be watching playboy tv, are offended by even a hint of male homosexuality because they think by being near it, or by seeing it, it somehow infringes on their own heterosexuality. These are the men who I think in a way are in touch with their "innate bisexuality" and aren't comfortable with that, so when they watch even straight porn, they make a point to say that they are only watching the women, or they complain that the men in the porn get too much time on camera and they want to see more of the women, etc etc.

Personally I think that "innate bisexuality" is something of a myth. Bisexual people are just greedy. :P

Well, one has to think of this from a business sense. On one hand, playboy doesn't make money from all the guys that watch the channel and subscribe to the magazine if they put on display two guys trying to "discover their bisexuality." On the other hand, you want sexual freedom for all and everyone should be able to experiment and find what suits them sexually.

Playboy just wants to make cash with this "reality" show. Just like all the others. That's my first thought when I read about this new show of theirs.
