The last time I was getting my STD testing done, I asked the doctor if she'd heard recently of drug-resistent forms of gonorrhea or chlamydia. I'd already heard about drug-resistent syphillis beginning to appear. The doctor said she hadn't.
Well, this yourtango.com article tells all. They found the strain in Japan and it's only a matter of time until it's more widespread. Even more reason for my super safe sex style of sex.
I've wondered for a while now if we were in a period of history where we get to have sex without antibiotic-resistant bacteria. We could move into a time where unprotected sex is insane. Don't worry, I'll have fun news next post.
