With visually poignant and deeply dramatic visuals, it does not look like your typical porno, which already makes it a great buy. (It's so ambiguous and beautiful that it can easily pass for a foreign film if left out for guests to see). I knew from the second Audrey Hollander spoke her first lines that I would have to put this sucker on 'mute.'

As usual, if you're looking for drama that is on par with the sex scenes (captivating, edgy, engaging) then I suggest you peruse the indie section of your video store. Catherine delivers great fuck scenes, not acting. Fortunately, Ninn strings the plot so loosely together that the use of 'mute' won't put you at a disadvantage as far as where the film is going. Nonetheless, the sex scenes do offer some fun little lines that I certainly will not forget. "What tasty man seed." Sounds funny? Well Hollander makes it sound sexy. (It's still funny, regardless. The final pop shot usually leaves the viewer breathless; I was gasping for air in between my laughter) Some of the sex in Catherine is typical as far as pornos go; but, instead of a Valley beach house, the action occurs in a snowy Budapest castle.

Quite honestly, I was a bit peeved by the fact that none of the male performers gave exceptional head to the ladies. For example, in the first scene between Hollander and Bauer takes place on the winter steps of the castle. As Audrey rubs her pink clit on a beautiful velvet sheet, her moans and heavy breathing echo throughout the scene (which I found incredibly hot). Then, Bauer gets down on his stomach. He flicks his tongue once, maybe twice, before slapping her already swollen clit. And on a cold winter day, I'm Hollander would have appreciated some more oral stimulation (or at least I would have appreciated it).

If you were also expecting sweet, romantic, and soft, then I suggest you look elsewhere. Catherine's forte is whores and the hardcore. And while that can be very hot and steamy, some of the scenes show that it's more irksome for the women than erotic. In the next scene, as Bruno SX fucks the raven-haired Valentina Vasquez, instead of moaning and grunts, Vasquez screams these brattish ows and ohs, which made it more comical than attractive. So, I couldn't really validate if there was genuine enjoyment from Hollander or Vasquez. While these scenes are less than stellar, there are definitely juicy moments that kept me moist. The hot triple girl-on-girl action between Hollander, Nikki Blond, and Adriana Rouso (both of them look alike) made my mouth water (my pussy as well).
