Is Gossip Girl Kiddie Porn?

I never watch Gossip Girl but thought about tivoing an upcoming episode when I saw the famed "threesome" promo. The Parents Television Council flipped penning a letter to the CW network calling the promo "reckless and irresponsible".
I liked the promo because it was the first time I've seen a threesome tease involving one woman AND TWO MEN. "Serena" (Blake Lively) is clearly the woman in the man sandwich but you have no idea who the two men are....that's the point I think.
The PTC's argument here is that Gossip Girl targets young teens and young teens shouldn't be encouraged to have threesomes (that's why we've had 10 years of abstinence only sex ed). I was kind of shocked here because I thought that they were going to attack the CW for portraying "teens" in sexual situations. It's ironic how we don't focus on the actors being objectified but rather the objecitification. The issue isn't that we shouldn't be getting our kicks off of young nubile bodies but that these young nubile bodies shouldn't be in certain sexual situations because it will get our kids sexed up.
In my opinion, pop culture is all about soft core kiddie porn. Teens are completely sexualized. Disney turns out all our pop singers and actors. If you're over 21, you're over the hill. We want to see young snatch, tight abs, and shiny faces - that's what's sexual. I was at a cocktail party a few years ago and the women were gushing over Zac Ephron. He was 17 at the time - my reaction was that if the husbands were talking about some 17 year old actress no one would be getting any that night.
It seems like we're the only culture obsessed with youth when it comes to sex. I wonder if our puritanical heritage has anything to do with our preoccupation with teens, hookers, porn, and sex scandals. Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in a world where sex was normalized and healthy....where it wasn't always about the taboo? Or would it be less fun because it wasn't naughty anymore?

sorry, but blair is not
sorry, but blair is not blake lively - it's leighton meester. :)
i couldn't find that promo anywhere, do you have a link?
and as someone who's seen every episode of gossip girl i might tell you: there is barely any sex seen nor talked about. in the beginning serena was shown having sex with nate in a backflash, but that could have just been making out - there was no bare skin.
and blair, who has been in a long term relationship with nate, always wanted to wait for her 16th/17th birthday to have sex with him. (and blair is the queen, an idol.)
now that she's with chuck there are hints on their sex life (blair lighting candles, blair dressed in (very classy) dessous..) but it is never shown.
same for serena&dan: they are waiting for the right moment, and it's pretty romantic and, as well, not shown but given hints on (again candles..).
so this is what i could recall from my mind. i don't see the porn in it. actually i think there are a lot "morally good" ways to deal with teenage sexuality.
(but i know it's not you critzising. :) )
xoxo
(and please excuse my english - i'm not native)
