"Dracula" Therapy Better Than Botox?

There's a new cosmetic therapy out that is a bit macobre. It's called the "Dracula" therapy and it involves injecting your own blood into your face (at least it's not toxic like botox). The idea is that a doctor draws vials of your own blood, then separates it into the red blood cells, the clear serum and the platelets. Then, after vitamins and amino acids have been added, the enriched serum is injected back into your face.
This stimulates DNA repair, heals scars and makes dry, wizened, wrinkled and lacklustre skin look and feel younger naturally, without the need for synthetic fillers or harsh and painful lasers or peels. Dentists have been using serum therapy for years to treat gum disease.
In a way, it makes total sense. And in a way it's kind of kinky. Having your blood drawn, fucked up in a lab, and injected back into your face with a long syringe needle....it's quite the fantasy image - BDSM at it's finest.
And knowing that it was "me" being injected into my face is calming in a strange way. It's like green plastic surgery but I struggle with whether the healthfulness of a procedure makes it any less narcissistic? There's no risk of migraine heachaches like botox but is it healthy for us to strive to remain beautiful? If you could suck our fat from your ass and pump it into your breasts risk free would you? If you could give blood, inject it into your face, and see your wrinkles vanish, would you? I think, for most women, it's a resounding "yes".
Perfection is hard to resist especially when it's so obtainable. However, at some point, if the perfect face and body become average, then perfection would become ordinary. Ordinary is not what we desire. It would be an interesting world if we prized small breasts and large noses because they made us stand out from the crowd. Maybe our vanity could help create a new aestheic of asymmetry.
