Artist Wangechi Mutu makes powerful collages from ethnographic photography, porn magazines, and 19-century medical illustrations.

In her own words,

“Females carry the marks, language and nuances of their culture more than the male. Anything that is desired or despised is always placed on the female body".

It's so simpe and it's so true. Our bodies are the lightning rods of the culture.
