Censoring "Bisexual"

Quist is an educational phone app documenting LGBT history.  It launched a few weeks ago and it's been downloaded 10,000 times in over 50 countries.  Clearly, it's a hit.

Last week the creator of the app Sarah Prager attempted to update the store description and received this error message:

“The following is not recommended for use in this field: bisexual. Your app may be rejected if you use this term.”

Sarah is confident Apple will correct the "oversight". *fingerscrossed* we'll see. In the meantime, change.org launched a petition to stop apple from flagging the term "bisexual" as obscene.

So many people have asked us to create an educational phone app with all Betty's information. I've shied away from it because I know we have too many sex keywords and they'll take exception with something like "bisexual" and yank us.

Oh, America.
