This is an image from the Nu Project - a series of honest nudes of women from all over the world. It's about celebrating the diversity of women's bodies no makeup, no photoshop, no glamour. Over 150 women have participated in the project and they're looking for more women to shoot (if you're interested).
I agreed to those meinmyplace photos (that ended up in Esquire) because there would be no photoshop...just my real body dimples and all shot in my apartment. I have to say that looking at images of pre-photoshop bodies is so healing. And I find the rolls, bumps, moles, and stretch marks incredibly attractive.
Don't sanitize women's bodies and make them look like plastic. I love the look of real flesh.
