I watched Sex Baby last night - a documentary on the pressures young girls face growing up in the digital age.  The cameras follow a twenty-something getting labiaplasty, a thirty-something porn star trying to conceive, and a tween girl going through puberty on facebook. 

The pornification of our culture has affected how young teens express themselves sexually - add social media into the mix - and you've got an entirely new world of sexual politics.  Unfortunately, young girls pay the highest price.     

Betty always says that she's against censoring porn because censorship never works.  I agree.  The real issue - not that the film addressed it - is that there's no decent sex ed out there to counter porn or put it in the right context.  Your heart breaks for these kids.
