I bookmarked this trailer months ago and clicked on it this morning.  There's something so beautiful, authentic, and tragic about their stories.

If only sex work had the esteemed position it once had in our culture...

women were Temple Priestesses who healed men by returning them to their bodies with touch and sexual pleasure. After men returned from whatever war they had been in, they spent time in the Temple before they returned to their famlies. These sacred whores were reverred and held in high esteem. Like the man said in the trailer,"I come here to buy myself a little happiness."
How we treat sex work and the women doing it is how we feel about human sexuality. Even today, anyone who is involved with sexuality is seen as potentially wicked. When I say I'm a sexologist, most people ask, "What is a sexologist?" I'm going to begin adding sacred whore after I say "sex educator." The big difference is instead of giving women an orgasm, I teach them how to give themselves one. Skating on thin ice is always a challenge.

The working environment in

The working environment in the clip looks pretty bad. Your treated like you work in a factory and are unskilled and are a thing with what appears to be little option to refuse a client.

The practice should be like a lawyers office with prostitutes as partners. Selection should take place online and then a meeting is scheduled in the practice bar. From there you have the option of going to your room with the client or refusing them, or refusing them at any time and security will remove them for you. Regular customers would just go straight to your room and persomally if I lked a client I might take them to lunch or have a chat with them in my coffee break.
