I'm Too Young for Gray Pussy Hair

Hi Dr. Betty,

I'm only in my thirties and yet my pussy hair is going gray...like a lot! We all know that the hair on our heads goes gray with age but I guess I've never really thought about pussy hair turning gray too. I'm too young for a gray pussy!! Do all women go gray down there?

I think I'm going to shave my pussy bald. Don't want to see all that gray hair. Makes me feel old.

Dear C,

According to my workshops and private sessions, women are letting their pubes grow out. I honestly prefer pubic hair to a bald pussy. My bush is now an assortment of thinning brown, gray and white hair. It's such a pleasure not to shave or wax. Just a few unruly hairs get trimmed with scissors around my clitoris and vaginal opening.

To each her own.

I am 36 and have some white hairs on my head and some single white pussyhairs. Interestingly there are more of them more on the left side of my pussy. My best friend (37, male) confessed he discovered some grey pubic hair on himself lately.
Advice: cut them off seperatedly with scissors, check your diet (lack of some vitamins and iron can cause grey hair) and most important: STOP WORRYING as it only leads to more grey hair...

I remember a time when the question was, "Does the carpet match the curtains?" when discussing hair color. Unfortunately, these days carpet is disappearing and being replaced by smooth tile.

I like natural pubic hair. The smells, the feel, everything. I'm almost completely gray up top - which I don't mind. Many grays on my chest - they bug me. A few random grays in my pubes - they really bug me. But I can't imagine shaving that area, it's just wrong. Pubic hair has important functionality. Pheromones, friction reduction, and sun protection ;) to name a few.
