Better Orgasms. Better World.
Hi Betty,
I am 30 years old female. I have been experiencing cramps after I have an orgasm by masturbation (clitoris stimulation) or after my bf gives me oral sex. The cramps are horrible from scale 1-10 I will rank them as a 9. They feel like birth contractions. I do not want to stop enjoying this type of orgasm because of the pain that follows the pleasure. I used to have endometriosis but not anymore. I am fine now. Is it normal to cramp after an orgasm? Is there anything I can do to lessen the pain? It only happens when I have a clitoral orgasm not with intercourse. HELP!!!!
Dear M,
Since the cramps don't happen during intercourse, that might indicate that you are clamping down on your PC (pelvic floor muscles) and holding too tight. His penis inside you prevents that from happening. Next time you masturbate, use a dildo or my Vaginal Barbell and observe how you are using those muscles. Also observe how you are breathing. Do not hold your breath in front of an orgasm. Put your finger inside your vagina and test the strength of your PC muscle. Doing Kegel exercises is how most of us learn they exist.
If they feel very tight then you might want to squat and release them. Are having orgasms with intercourse? If not, just add clitoral stimulation while he is penetrating you. Getting the best of both world. . . clitoral and vaginal stimulation. . . is where it's at. The combo orgasm reigns supreme.
