Betty Dodson with Carlin Ross
Better Orgasms. Better World.
Hi Betty! I don't know if you remember me, but this past summer I sought your advice on how to find my orgasm, and two days after you responded I succeeded. Ever since, I check your website at least once a week, and you and Carlin have helped me accept and love my sexual self.
Now I'm back with another question. I've noticed recently that after sex, for the next day or two, the muscles in my pelvic area are sore. The pain is right along the crease where the leg connects to the buttocks, and it's on both sides. It's painful to the touch, and even without touching I realize it's sore, but it's not like it's crippling or anything. It's more of an annoyance than anything, and I was
wondering is this normal? What would cause this? Could it be I'm just using muscles that aren't so used to being used?
Thanks for all your help!
L
Dear L,
Glad to hear we have been of help. As for the pain you are having, I think you have answered your own question. Most likely it's how you are using your muscles during intercourse. Next time make it a point to observe which position uses which set of muscles. I think we all go through some interesting changes when we first become sexually active. Observe and learn. It sounds like you are doing just fine.
