Porn 2.0

I take issue with what Steve Orenstein and Brad Armstrong at Wicked Pictures had to say regarding the porn they make and who it is targeted at.  I'm so sick to death of hearing that as a woman I'm supposed to give a damn about terrible acting, unbelievable plot and bad sex because that's all women can tolerate in porn!!  It's this mind set that preaches that women hate porn, they're scared or grossed out by it and watching it is a horrible degradation and something you only do for your husband or boyfriend.  Nothing could be further from the truth for me or for any of my female friends.  I happen to be married and love watching porn with or without my husband.  My single friends love to watch it too.  None of us are interested in whatever passes for a "story" in porn, we want to see the exact same thing that men want to see, namely SEX.  I'll take a good ol' gonzo compilation over having to sit through some awkward, tedious, terribly acted, fakey "couple-oriented", "woman-friendly" porn ANY DAY!!!!!!!  And no amount of dialogue is going to make me care about whether or not two characters have sex, that's not the purpose of porn-for anyone.  Just because that's how you made porn in the "good old-fashioned" days decades ago, doesn't mean that it was good or that anyone ever cared about that aspect of it.
