Hi Anonymous. You make an interesting point, and one that I've observed too: it's amazing how many people labour under the misapprehension that penises all double in size when they get hard. My penis is also large when soft (about as large as a typical erection) and it has often surprised and amused me how big some people think it will become when hard. You are correct in saying that penises that are already large when soft don't expand on erection to the same degree that smaller soft penises do. Mine grows by about a third in length, or perhaps a little more -- but it's a long way from being double the size!

i love the whole "show-er" vs. "grow-er" phenomenon. i wonder, genetically, what causes that? why some men have no girth or length to speak of when flaccid and are quite impressive when erect, and some have all the length/girth they're gonna get when flaccid, but it just get's hard when they're turned on... and everything in between.
