As an artist and photographer, I often revisit this question. Webster's Concise Dictionary of the English Language list one usage of the word "art" as: "2 The creation of works that are, in form, content and execution, esthetically pleasing and meaningful as in music, painting, sculpture, literature, architecture, dance, etc" I found it interesting that the definition doesn't include the words, "viewing of".

As a viewer of "art", there are very few artists and photographers who's artwork depicting genitals I find being visually pleasing or have any type of meaning. Henry Horenstein (http://www.henryhorenstein.com/humans.html) works being among my favorites. As far as this gallery, I was impressed by "Hidden Beauty", "For my Friends", and the work with the wall of vaginas.

How does one create artwork of genitals that is visually pleasing and have some sort of meaning?

I shot severals images and apparently, this is a subject that I excell at.
