Women have always had powerful sex drives. It's the society/culture which helps determine how and when they use this sexual power. Women are designed and built to have LOTS of sex. In fact, amongst our distant ancestors, group sex was probably the norm. Perhaps, one or a handful of women along with many males. Ancient people didn't know anything about genetics or the science of pregnancy. They just fucked a lot because it was fun! The males would compete for the most desirable females, then the females would have sex with the most desirable males, then the males' sperm would compete in the female's uterus to impregnate her with the most viable sperm. Sex was also used as social glue. It bonded people together and it probably made males more attentive to the welfare of the females because they never knew who was carrying their progeny.

Sexually repressed parents breathed a collective sigh of relief this week when a study confirmed their ultimate fantasy: abstinence-only sex ed delays sexual activity in teens.  

Jonah Lehrer put the whole debate in perspective:

"...it's really difficult to change the sexual habits of adolescents."

"That's because we've been trying to change behavior with facts and information. We've assumed that the way to get kids to wear condoms is give them statistics about sexually transmitted disease, or that the way to get students to abstain from sex is to lecture them on morality, or the difficulty of caring for a child while in high school. The problem with such facts is that they don't help teens deal with their moment of sexual decision, which most likely occurs when they're half naked and deranged with desire. In other words, we've assumed that sexual choices are rational choices, influenced by classroom exhortations and dry information. But that's wrong."

I feel sorry for Sanford. Really, really sorry. Imagine telling your soon-to-be spouse that you have desires unrelated to marriage and then having them blow it off as "a phase".

Are you kidding? No wonder you people make marriage look like a joke.

Calling it a "leap of faith", Mark Sanford's wife, Jenny Sanford, told Barbara Walters (on 20/20, where cheaters are roasted and wives are made to look like "victims") that she (mis)interpreted Sanford's honesty as "cold feet":

Scandalouswomen.com points out that teen girls can have sex but can't buy sex toys in many states:

"The age of consent in the United States varies by state, but is often around 16. Buying sex toys, on the other hand, is strictly limited in all states to 18 years and older. Why the contrast?"

Texas, Alabama and Georgia have laws prohibiting the sale of sex toys across the board.  It is illegal to sell or distribute "any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs."  (Notice how it's legal to buy adult entertainment and cock rings)

I would hope that any teen girl who wants to own a sex toy will find an older sister or friend to step in and buy one for her. Society wants to get off on the appearance of teen girls but not to accept that they have sexual desires of their own. A sex toy will never get her knocked up!

My boyfriend takes a VERY long time to orgasm, and often goes soft before he can finish, resulting in him having no orgasm at all. He has admitted that taking a long time has always been a problem for him, and we can often end up having sex for an hour or two, often without him even managing to orgasm at the end. As you can imagine, during these lengthy sessions I get rather sore with the friction (even with lubrication) and it puts me off having sex with him, because I just know that we're going to be there for hours and I won't be able to sit down afterwards... we can never just have a quickie!

Age 4: I remember, VERY vividly, being in preschool and laying on a cot during nap time. Couture.  I know....it's inconceivable.  The line features versatile styles "that can be worn with sweet ballerina slippers, funky sneakers or paired with lace stockings and boots for more of a rock and roll look."  When I was nine, I wore panties with ducks on them - not lace panties with lace up boots.  I mean check out the stripper pole

Director Sanjay Sharma made Dunno Y ... Na Jaane Kyun (Don't Know Why) after a High Court ruling overturned a law against homosexuality in India last year.  He expects that his Bollywood film featuring the first male gay kiss in mainstream Indian cinema will pass film censors.
